My Mother’s Day was great…Thanks to my wonderful family. I spent time working on one of the recipes on my list and was very pleased with the results. I even had enough to share with our extended family. I found the recipe through foodgawker from Kitchen Simplicity. It was pretty easy considering I’ve never baked using yeast before. I was a little nervous about that but it turned out fine. I will definitely make this recipe again.

It was neat to watch the yeast blooming in the warm water.
